National Olympiads by Amar Ujala (AUNO) is India's AI-powered school olympiad platform, conducted by Amar Ujala Limited. It is open to students from Class 1 to 10 across 7 subjects (applicable classwise) and is built on a dedicated AI dashboard that generates a personalised AI Intelligence Report for every student.

Students of Class 1 to 10 are eligible. English and Mathematics are open for Class 1-10, while General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Science, Hindi and Tech & AI are open for Class 3 to 10.

Seven subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Hindi, and Tech & AI. Tech & AI is conducted online by default; all other subjects are conducted offline within school premises.

Single Olympiad (Level 1): Rs 200. Combo of 2 Olympiads (Level 1) Early Bird: Rs 250. When registering for more than one Olympiad, pricing automatically becomes Rs 125 per Olympiad. Level 2 participation fee is Rs 125 per Olympiad. Early Bird offer valid till 15 July 2026.

Every AUNO student gets a personal AI-powered dashboard with practice material, mock tests, AI chatbot assistance, topic-level analysis and predictive performance insights. Their AI Intelligence Report is generated by a Large Language Model that evaluates 50+ performance metrics across 10,000+ combinations — accuracy, speed, topic mastery, difficulty handling, attempt behaviour — producing a personalised academic roadmap, not just a rank.

Level 1 is conducted within school premises in September and November 2026. The top 20% of students from Level 1 qualify for Level 2, which is scheduled for February 2027 (tentative) at AUNO-assigned exam centres. Tech & AI is conducted online for both levels.

OMR and MCQ-based examination. Class 1-2: 25 questions. Class 3-5: 40 questions. Class 6-10: 50 questions.

For school-registered students: the exam is conducted within the registered school premises. For students who register online individually: if the school is participating and allows it, the student will be tagged with the school. Otherwise the student will appear at a dedicated AUNO exam centre. Tech & AI is conducted online for all students.

Champion Award (Top 3): Euro Space Center Visit for the student + 1 guardian, or Rs 3 Lakh INR cash (TDS applicable).
National Level (60 awards): Rs 21,000 + Trophy + Certificate.
State Level (480 awards): Rs 5,100 + Trophy + Certificate.
District Level (9,000 awards): Medal + Certificate.
School Level (10,000+ awards): Medal for Class Toppers (min 10 students per subject, per class, per school).

The student must be from Class 3 to 10, must participate in Level 1 in Tech & AI + any 4 other Olympiads, must qualify for Level 2 in Tech & AI + any 4 other Olympiads, and post Level 2 result must score above the 98th percentile. If the student doesn't avail the international tour, the equivalent cash award is Rs 3 Lakh INR (TDS applicable).

For state-level awards, the states considered are UP, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Maharashtra, Bihar, and Rest of India (treated as one). Minimum participation in that subject, in that particular class, must be more than 50 students. With fewer than 50 participants, the student will not be eligible for a state award.

Level 1 Phase 1 exams run from 21 September to 29 September 2026 across the six offline subjects. Phase 2 exams run from 18 November to 27 November 2026. Tech & AI dates will be announced shortly on the website and dashboard. See the full schedule on the syllabus page.
