Terms and Conditions
General Guidelines
Students must maintain academic integrity during the Olympiad.
Any malpractice (e.g., cheating, impersonation) during Level 1 will result in
disqualification from the Olympiad.
Registration fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
Level 1 will be conducted within school premises. Only the top 20% performers and
District Toppers will qualify for Level 2.
Students who qualify for Level 2 and wish to participate must pay ₹150 per Olympiad.
Level 2 will be conducted at designated centers.
1. General Terms
1.1. The Amar Ujala National Olympiad (AUNO) is an academic competition that students
voluntarily participate in.
1.2. By registering, students agree to adhere to all rules, guidelines, and schedules set by Amar
Ujala.
1.3. By participating in the Amar Ujala National Olympiad, I hereby give my voluntary consent to Amar Ujala for the collection, use, and processing of the personal data of the participant, including name, photograph, and performance details and other data in the registration form. I understand and agree that this information may be published and shared on social media platforms, websites, and other marketing channels for the proper conduct of Amar Ujala National Olympiad and for sponsorship and promotion activities connected therewith. I acknowledge that my personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and that I may withdraw my consent at any time by contacting Amar Ujala.
2. Examination Conduct
2.1. Level 1 will be conducted at school premises, and only the top 20% performers and
District Toppers will proceed to Level 2.
2.2. Students must strictly follow the rules and instructions given during the examination.
2.3. In case of a tie, rankings will be determined based on accuracy, number of attempted
questions, and sectional performance.
3. Awards and Recognition
3.1. If a student tops multiple Olympiad subjects at the national level, they will receive only one
national-level award.
3.2. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative rewards.
4. Complaints and Disputes
4.1. All disputes or grievances must be emailed to contact@amarujalaolympiad.com within 10
days of the examination.
4.2. Amar Ujala reserves the right to resolve disputes at its sole discretion, and its decision will
be final and binding.
5. Liability
5.1. Amar Ujala is not responsible for any logistical, technical, or physical issues arising at
schools or during Level 2.
6. Use of Data and Communication
6.1. Amar Ujala may contact students and/or parents/guardians via phone calls, automated
calls, SMS, WhatsApp, emails, or push notifications.
7. Participation Guidelines
7.1. Students must appear only for the Olympiad subjects they originally registered for.
7.2. If a student changes their subject on the exam day without prior authorization, their result
may not be declared.
7.3. If a student's school changes their subject at the time of the exam, the student will be
marked absent for the originally registered subject. The new subject attempted will be treated as
a fresh registration, and additional payment will be required to obtain the final result.
8. OMR Sheet Guidelines
8.1. Students must carefully fill out all fields in the OMR sheet.
8.2. If there is any error or mismatch, the result will not be announced for the concerned
student.
9. Amendments
9.1. Amar Ujala reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and all updates will be
communicated accordingly.
